Ft. Collins easily.

Don’t move to BR... one of the worst cities in America.
Well, maybe not the worst, but it sure does suck in every way imaginable.

Ft. Collins
BR
Jackson Hole
In that order. If you were married with a family it would be different. Ft. Collins is a cool college town close to everything.

Option 1: Jackson, WY; hunting, skiing/snowboarding, great scenery and wildlife year-round
Then hopefully earn enough money to buy a fricking ranch and become John Dutton.

This is an easy choice my friend. I wish all choices were this easy

Funny how life changes. 30 years ago, my dream was to live in Destin. Now retired, it’s just about any place in the mountains. I’ve been to Jackson and and Ft. Collins and I could live in both. But, as previous posters have said, it takes money to live a decent life in Jackson. Ft. Collins actually is a nice retirement destination for some.
Living in Baton Rouge, 3 mountain trips a year will just have to do.
Oh, and lest we forget, BTR does have a Natty to brag about !!!!!

One of these is not like the others. Which one???

Fort Collins would be the easy choice for me as a young single guy. Better job prospects, more to do, more single women, less brutal winters than Jackson.

Jackson is a really small community.
I would take Jackson, but Bozeman may be better option longterm.
You probably know this already, but you’ll pay out of state fees for your tags your first year.

A lot of the local working population lives in the Victor/Driggs area. The morning and evening traffic on Highway 33 is pretty bad.
My good friend used to do this commute. He died when his car rolled to the bottom of the hill on a day off. Could happen anywhere, I guess, but that commute is no joke.

I don't know how you people live where it freezes for half the year. You can't do anything involving water. Can't paint. Can't pour concrete. Can't wash your car. And you're essentially stuck inside. There's a reason that most humans for most of human history have lived near the equator.

Does everyone on this board think BR consists of Exxon and North BR? BR is not that bad. Geez.
But bashing BR is the cool thing to do, so carry on.

Fort Collins is the best for the average person

Name the redeeming qualities that don’t involve a football team

Yes
Yes it is
Especially if you remember the BR of 20+ years ago
