Can't believe no one has said it yet, so I will. The obvious answer is...

Chalmette!

As in I don't lie about shite.

But I'm a little bombastic with some things with some views that a girl I take out on dates from time to time don't need to be reading my post history with out contex

My podnuh recently sold his house off Chipawa in the channel and moved off RELee by the London canal, and he says it's straight but I can tell he misses upt. Every time I'm over there it's like there is no one in the neighborhood. It's way too quiet. I have to have shite going on around me. Maybe I'm weird. That's why I loved the CBD. I may be doing the same mundane thing but everyday when I got in the elevator and walking to work it was always something new and new faces. Maybe I'm a sucker to chaos

Unmarried? Warehouse district or uptown if I could afford it, midcity if not.

Married? Covington, Lakeview, or Old Metairie

Good for a rental, but terrible long term investment in ownership

Same here, but people who don't know me already would think I am a huge POS IRL. I'd be having a shite fit if I linked my profile to my coworkers

Young (early 30s), single partner in our Lafayette office decided to transfer to the NOLA office. He bought a two story townhouse in the FQ (St. Ann Street near Rampart, I think). He walked to our office at One Shell building and kept his Porche in a garage a few blocks from his home. He rented out the upstairs and lived down. He loved it there, but transferred back to the Lafayette office after about 5 years. Sold the townhouse for a considerable profit.

Metairie? Kenner? Commute from the Northshore?

Good areas if you're married, have kids, or like staying home during free time.

But if you're young, single, no kids, and like the nightlife/dining/social type of scene....Warehouse District or uptown around St Charles/Carrollton area.

I guess I don't get what people see in lakeview. It's very expensive for what it is.

Over rated for sure. If I wanted to live out there, I'd just safe money and live in chilly Gentilly fwiw

All Uptown, Carrollton, mid city, WHD, CBD, marigny, Fq, parts of central city, broadmoor, bywater, parts of treme, parts of st Roch are all preferable neighborhoods to me than LV
