Quite the contrary, the black council members couldn't stand him because he wouldn't take their side. He's got his vision for BR, whether one agrees with it or not. Got to give the man credit, right or wrong, he got things moving forward.

He's with the BRAF people fighting to get 130 million more federal dollars for the Tram.
I wish he would have fought hard for the last 11 years for a 130 million dollars to fix some of our traffic problems.
His Green Light plan was a great one. He just couldn't get the big picture fixed. He did well with parish only projects.
That and building park after park along N Blvd and around the River Center.
Anyone know what they are doing on the Blvd. now?

He's been one of the few bright spots in this. More politicians/media should follow his example and just shut up. Protesters would not like his honest response.

There's only one way to alleviate BR's traffic woes. The city planning was so piss poor, syncing lights and adding turn lanes aren't going to do squat.

He has been drunk and chasing women almost every time I've seen him. I think it's funny as shite, and don't mind it.
I did some community service at a Habitat house, and he showed up right after lunch drunk, with a highball glass, and was hitting on all of the Americorps chicks

Kip is out of town and choosing not to bring attention to this crap from his office. He's playing it just fine. Would you rather him be out peacefully protesting against law enforcement like the idiot governor, whose family is loaded with career LE employees and ran on that platform?
