Well don’t give us any parameters to work within retard. If you think SFV is too expensive, how bout Toledo Bend? It’s pretty enough and you’re only 2-3 hours away from BR? . You won’t evacuate from there.

False River, on the Tickfaw River or Lake Concordia if that’s your thing.

Youngsville, Zachary, Live Oak or maybe Pineville.

Natchez MS is a certified retirement city according to the sign they put up. 90 minutes from Tiger Stadium. Four lane all the way. Sports betting st their casino. Access to golf, fishing and a local Applebee’s.

Consider Verdun/Bayou Barbery. Half way in between French Settlement and Springfield. Most of it did NOT flood in 2016. Anywhere around South Branch Library is good. Yes, it's in LP, but not typical LP trash.
