Get me in and on my plane with as minimal hassle as possible

Used to live in Montana and loved those small airports. Luggage check in, security and boarding with zero hassle just like BTR.

Now O'Hare is just on the other end of the spectrum. Gets you frustrated every single time.

Same. BTR eliminates most of the things I hate about flying. It just doesn't have too many direct flights.

New LFT airport is really great for convenience and they have a legit bar now.

Good. I'd like to ask him too if he ever walks by the spot where it happened and give a few "hell yeahs"...

Because I know that's what I do whenever I walk by what I think is where it happened.

The entire airport is different now. Where it happened no longer exists.

You have to wonder what people who arrived for flights an hour later wondered when they walked by the big red wet spot on the carpet.

Would be curious how that went down.

There should be a marker there that says:

“At the spot in 1985, a giant among men had to stones to do what 99.99% of the rest of only say would do.

Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear trucker hats and shades.”

This is correct. I was told the current location is where the business center is located.

But if we were shooting a reenactment...it would be where the ATM is located.

Also...it was a .38 nubbed nose revolver not a .357.

I flew Lafayette a couple of weeks ago for the first time. It was a dream. Pull up, walk in, fly out.

Lafayette new terminal is perfect for what they are. Love flying out of here as it’s 10 minutes from my house. So easy.

Unless you have a long direct flight out of a large airport, smaller airports are the way to go.

Jody, your pop was father of the millennium in my book, may he rest in peace. Do you ever or have you ever walked by there and if so, what goes thru your mind?

And if you don't want to answer, I completely understand.

I guess you and I value different things. I can park cheaply in a garage, walk across the street, and be through security in literally 5 minutes alone 15 with a family. Paying double for a bottled water and triple for a burger on the other side of security is not what I care about. Get me in and on my plane with as minimal hassle as possible.

The only bad thing about BTR is the fact that you have to change planes somewhere. And god help you if that somewhere is Houston. That is the worst gate area in the US. Much worse if you are headed home to BTR and have to wait in Houston for your connecting flight.

True, unless you are coming back with a firearm. Takes forever for them to bring them out.
