Where in the BR Airport did Gary Plauche serve his justice?

I've asked this before and it was answered, but the TD search tools, Google, etc aren't much help.
Where in the airport did Gary Plauche blow Jeff Doucet away? Obviously there's no payphones there anymore, but about where did it happen? I always thought it was on the American side past the bar a little bit.. But the first floor seems more logical.

If you top the escalators like you are walking towards the TSA, and look to your left, I believe the bank of old payphones was along that wall where the airport BOD's pictures are now...

Headed to the old baggage claim area. Airport was renovated in 1998-2002. They added the rotunda and south departure lounge. Before then it was just a rectangle.

It was near the escalator on the second floor. There used to be a bunch of pay phones that have since been removed. He was acting like he was on the phone and turned when Doucet was being escorted by him. Shot him with a 4” Smith model 66 .357.

I guess you and I value different things.
I can park cheaply in a garage, walk across the street, and be through security in literally 5 minutes alone 15 with a family.
Paying double for a bottled water and triple for a burger on the other side of security is not what I care about.
Get me in and on my plane with as minimal hassle as possible.

The current escalators that head up to the rotunda did not exist in the ‘80s when this happened. Where the rotunda was built was concrete tarmac. In the ‘80s there were only 4 jet bridges as the terminal was a rectangle. The rotunda and south departure lounge (area angled SE from rotunda) and the ticket did not exist.
Where the pay phones were located was in the old area on the northern side of the terminal building

You can arrive minutes before your flight, no problems, fly out. I like that aspect of flying.

Same. BTR eliminates most of the things I hate about flying. It just doesn't have too many direct flights.
