Where do you stand? Open it back up? Or keep it shut down?

Pretty simple question. Curious as to everyone’s opinion.

Should we reopen the economy, say no later than end of April? (I personally would like to see it happen before then, but that’s just my opinion)

Or should we leave it closed through May and perhaps even onto the summer?

Please explain your position as well.

Open it up now

ETA quarantine the elderly and people with underlying conditions, and anybody else who feels uneasy about getting out should have the option of staying home. Let the able bodied take our chances if we want to.

I stand in the group that thinks fear has overtaken the country, that the effects of this fear will last a long time, and that it is all very sad.

Government workers/ people getting paid to sit at home: "Be safe, stay at home the longest time as possible"

The real world that needs to earn a living: "Get this shite over with, I got bills to pay, let's go"

Start opening in steps. No big crowds or things like that for a while though.

Social distancing is working -- let it run its course. Open it back up now and you'll just have to do it all over again. The economy will come back, don't worry man.

Reopen it. Statistically there is zero reason not to.

There are too many carriers and too many people at walmart.

It truly doesn't matter.

Might as well keep it to April 30th now. Let the numbers keep improving and open it all back up May 1st.

The economy isn't closed.

I'm not against relaxing things a bit to see if people can be adults on their own this time around, with the expectation that we'll go right back to it if necessary.
