Is the Independence Blvd location now the only one in the city?

Appreciate your sarcasm but the DMV site only shows Independence Blvd which seems absurd for a city this size. But enjoy your day Beevis or is it Butthead?

What happened to the DMV Express locations? There was on in the strip mall on Perkins and Seigen. There is another near Independence Park off Airport Drive.

Tried it. There is a requirement they have to send you a renewal notice by mail first. Did not get one so it may be you have to go in person every so often for anew photo or test your vison .

Port Allen has an office that is usually pretty fast.
I work downtown and have gone for lunch.

Go to one of the Neighborhood Title locations (they have 4). In and out in under 15 minutes every time. You pay a little extra but the convenience is worth it.

It's still there and a great alternative to waiting at the 'real' DMV.

I went to Thib's Title in Broussard around 10AM to get my license renewed. I was there for over an hour. One guy getting his license renewed re-took his picture SEVEN frickING TIMES! At the DMV, they snap one picture and walk away. Doesn't matter if you blink or not.

This happened to me as well. I ended up making an appt. at the one on Independence. I was dreading it, figuring I'd be there all day.
It ended up not being bad at all. It was surprisingly efficient and I wasn't there very long at all.

There are 10-15 locations of third-party people who can do this for you. Express OMV has locations in almost every medium size of bigger citty

If you don't need a change of address, or upgrade to a REAL ID. Should be able to do it online. Incredibly easy through the LA Wallet app too.

Thought I could go to the one by Calandros on my lunch break once, walked in saw about 30 people waiting in line. Walked out and did it online in the parking lot. Received the new physical license a few days later in the mail.

Well, on this site the only location shown for BR is the Department of Public Safety location on Independence Blvd. The rest of the locations shown are in other cities.

I am going to try the other suggestions presented on this board. Thanks to all who responded. I always know I have come to the right place.
