Pick Baton Rouge in the search by city. It won't link to the search results only to the main page. Here is a screenshot of what you'll see.

Pick on one and you'll see where they are located. Like this

It may be just a bad one-time experience but the last time I went to the DMV express at seigen/perkins it was a complete clusterfrick. Worse than any of my trips to the main location.

Is the Independence Blvd location now the only one in the city?

Only “official” one I know.

DMV Express locations exist across the city and are somewhat quick but you pay a premium for not having to waste a day at Independence Park.

There are a ton of contractors in the area that are way faster than sitting at a DMV. Just find a title place and get it knocked out on your lunch break. They charge a convenience fee, but that beats waiting in line for an hour or two.

What happened to the DMV Express locations?

Can you update your sex offender registration at these as well?

so it may be you have to go in person every so often for anew photo

Yeah I had to get a new picture last year, the previous one was from moving back to the state in 2001. So every 22 years or something isn’t a major difficulty.

What I find difficult is making it to the courthouse for an “original” copy of my birth certificate so DMV will fix their error (probably fat fingered the keys) of my birthdate being off 1 year that happened with mail in or internet renewal.

do that shite online and save yourself the trouble of waiting in line at the dmv

I think every other renewal you have to do it in person or at one of the express DMV locations.

I had to renew my license last week and upgraded to the Real ID.

I was in and out in 30 minutes at the Houma DMV. I did however make an appointment. I skipped ahead of 4 others waiting without appointments. Also the DMV worker was not your average DMV worker, she was a good looking too.

DMV express on Coursey near Sherwood. More expensive but worth it quick and nice people.
