You don't get invited to weddings and have to RSVP via the mail with a pre-stamped return letter?
Who does this anymore? Usually just call or text them to rsvp

OP's mom raised my mast this morning does that count?

We probably use it a couple times a year for random things.
Ours broke off last summer and I had to replace it. Seemed like we had to mail a couple things every few days while it was out of commission

My wife and I get invited to weddings like once a month these days (we’re 30) and I’d say 100% do this.

I wanted to start a movement for my own wedding 4 years ago to do it via evite or something and have people just RSVP online. The looks I got from my wife and mother-in-law quickly told me I was in a battle I didn't want to start.
So, who does this anymore? 99% of all people inviting others to a wedding. I have never been invited to a wedding that didn't require snail mail RSVP. I wish that was not the case. The fact that we are spending so much money on mail in this digital age confounds me, but that is the way it is. I think once all the people that don't have emails die out, we can start to look logically at wedding RSVPs.

Never. I always drop off at Post Office. I don’t trust the mail carrier’s competence and prefer to eliminate a step

Speaking of this - I've had mail get lost 3 times in the past month simply from mailing to/from a hotel. Like you, I'm done relying on a middleman.

Last time I mailed something out.

Long time. It was pointless in New Orleans (mail carriers are worthless there) and my mailbox now and for the foreseeable future doesn't have one.
There's a drop box conveniently located on my way to work.

You're talking about clicking the red flag in your outlook inbox right?
Posted on 4/23/18 at 6:05 pm to CAD703X
I've never had a mailbox with a flag.

So yours must have all either been a door slot or attached to the house, right?? Everyone I’ve ever had (except my current one) had a flag.
