When's the last time you raised the red flag on your mailbox?

Same. I grew up in a house with a mailbox at the end of the street and we mailed things out (with the little red flag) all the time. But ever since moving out, I've always lived in places with the above and it never fails.. I can't EVER get them to take the mail. I've tried clothespins, tried pinning the mail outside the box so it is obvious.. no dice.
So I mail everything from the big blue mailbox right outside my street.

Yep or bring it to work and put in the outgoing mail. I don't know what I have to do to get them to pick up the mail at my house.
