He drew the gun from his waistband and brandished it while acting in an aggressive manner towards the other guy. Not sure how a reasonable person wouldn't interpret that as a threat
Add in that most thugs have never been to a range everyone within a quarter mile could have been shot by Big Red.

It was a threat. But ire guy at the counter shot him after the threat had passed.

It wasn't that he just pulled it out, he had it out in an aggressive manner and was having the verbal altercation at the time.

Red suit was threatening another person's life, then proceeds to pull out a gun. Doesn't matter if he pointed at someone. If the cop waits until that happens, it is already too late

How was the red suit guy able to walk off after being shot 3x in point blank range.

If you openly had a gun in your hand, made any threat, and got shot by either a civilian or LEO that is an open and shut DGU all day.

Obvious ignorance of the ROE police officers can operate under. Unlike civilians, police can use lethal force on a suspect that is fleeing and armed in defense of the public at large.

Then the other guy wasn't threatened and he just started unloading after the guy was leaving.
Don't see how it's a good shoot.
The dude was in the store and said, very loudly and NUMEROUS times, "You want to lose your life tonight?"
Then he pulled a gun out and brandished it at the dude. You don't get to make threats on someone's life and THEN pull out a firearm on them, and then claim there was no intent to do harm. Fake gun or not, in that situation its the same as a real gun.
Doesn't matter if he literally points it at someone...he's a threat. And the cop neutralized the threat immediately. Good for him.

Unless the bullet hits the nervous system to instantly incapacitate, it usually takes a few seconds or longer before blood loss begins to affect them. They can still pull a trigger during those few seconds and possibly for even longer after they’ve fallen to the ground. He was still a threat and when he turned around in the parking lot, that was the next justification for more shots.

Fella might have stood a chance of running away if he would wear his pants like a human.

Men like you are why violent criminals are allowed to continuously terrorize the public.

Didn't identity himself or ask the guy to disarm.
So, if you pull out a gun for no reason, after stating "you trying to lose your life tonight", then one must wait for it to be pointed at another before initiating a defense protocol?

I'm glad that person is no longer alive. We do not have a shortage of people who walk around trying to start fights and confrontations with guns, real or fake.

I'm sure the whole "you tryna lose your life tonight" won't come into play either

But the threat hadn't passed. He walked outside with a gun in his hand looking for a fight. Nobody knew the gun was fake and, lets be real, if the gun was real, he probably would have shot that guy.

So he has to wait for the person who just aggressively pulled his gun to actively point it at someone before he shoots?
