A client with a plant in Mississippi called me from Europe on Monday. Headhunters keep sending him total failures for plant manager. NOne of themknow operations or maintenance at all. Great resumes and great interviews but professionals at holding meetings and sending emails, and never get anything done.

I had someone apply to a role and on their resume they listed themselves as business owner of “X” business. After deep research, the said said he “owned” did not exist

The hardest part about my job is waking up at 5AM and having the language barrier first thing in the morning. Really forces you to focus and pay attention to everything being said because I can't understand every word.

Trying work in ap development or any kinda programming job.

Its awful

So many unqualified people get jobs.

hiring for a pretty entry level role

I recently hired 7 entry level positions. Took me interviewing 23 people to find 7. A lot of them uploaded the job description in ChatGpt and used it draft their resumes.

The fun part is that by this time 3 years from now, 4 of them will be gone, and if you're lucky, 1 will be trying to move up within the company.

No, it's because we had all these recently educated women that needed work and there was nothing useful for them too do. They were not going into technical careers, trade careers, or business careers, so an avenue was created.

Given that most of the applications these days are being AI screened for very specific terms, it makes sense to use AI to tailor the resume to that application, otherwise a human never sees it

Everything is fake

"Human Resources" is the biggest fraud position ever created.
Some ridiculous clerical-level person that feeds your resume into a program to scan for key words and knows nothing about the positions they're hiring for.
The entire hiring process needs to revert back to the supervisors that are hiring someone for the position.
