I keep them, but not for a collection. I use them in my shop for mixing small amounts of JBWeld or wood putty. I also use them as a disposable putty knife for small jobs, and for cornering caulk.
I've cut a few over the years to make collar stays for my dress shirts for when the dry cleaner forgot to put them in.
They are useful to wrap sandpaper over to sand inside curves as well.

No, but I do keep the robes. If Marriott robe, wear it on Mondays (M/M).

No, also they are a pain to keep away from my credit cards which will fry them.
My other thing about hotels is I remember as a kid, when my parents and I would stay somewhere the day we left we'd go back to the lobby to "check out."
I haven't "checked out" of a hotel in forever, I don't think it is a thing anymore. Anytime I am at my last day, I just leave with my stuff, never to return. It seems like it wasn't always that way. You'd have to go stand in some line and hope it wasn't long so you wouldn't miss your flight.

Do you keep them in the same shoebox as your underwear trophies?

No, but some of the women did.

My ex wife did this. She liked to keep a memento of every hotel we stayed at, even though I had a habit of getting a print or some kind of artwork portraying each city/state/country we went to.
I actually found them in a box a few years ago. Four Seasons, Fairmont, Marriott and I want to say even Hotel Monteleone. Probably 25 cards. Kinda silly but I guess it was a cheap way of remembering each place.

That seems like a crime.
Sorry but I've spent enough time in jail.

Between this thread and the one you started yesterday about using hotel toilet paper, are you having a mental breakdown of some kind?

I still feel like it's nice to let the front desk know you're out. Who knows if it ever really helps them at all.

Good ideas.
My son has a guitar pick punch. He makes his own pics if they are unique enough.

Yes, I put mine with my empty liquor bottles above my cabinets.

while the remote is a misdemeanor and possibly immoral, the gaskets are a consumable that my room rate covers. I have a tik tok if you'd like to view my lovely gaskets

A man can’t have too many remotes.

I just assumed you were automatically checked out at 11am, or whatever time they say to be out of the room. So I leave the cards on the desk in the room.
Maybe that slows them down? I never really thought about it. Although I've also never considered stealing the cards or anything else from the room, so maybe it evens out
