The two Popeyes in Sulphur are pretty well ran. Order is normally right and you don’t have to pull forward. The best one I’ve been to was in DeRidder. Had young Pentecostal kids working at it with a mix of adults. Chicken was on point and everything was correct.

Memories, it was back in the early 80's... Those of us in the HVACR business called the "Chicken Wars" They were building chicken joints so fast that there were not enough Contractors to build the damn things.

The Popeyes in Fulshear seems almost exclusively staffed by Filipinos, it is well run and they're pleasant. When it first opened I was honestly stunned that none of the staff tried to abuse me.

I walked in yesterday for a Tuesday special, no line. Waited 5 minutes. Nobody acknowledge me. Went somewhere else.
It is my fault, I guess, I should have used the drive thru.

My son tells me the Popeyes in Pearland, TX are quite clean and efficient. With great chicken and a polite staff.

Canes killed the best chicken joint in Baton Rouge. Bailey’s biker chicken. He was the first one doing it on the corner of Highland and Lee.
