It’s all relative. My coworkers are much more smarter and motivated

How about changing careers? You might look into tree trimming.

I feel like you capped out posting when you were 33.

That is a sign you have to challenge yourself and make a lifestyle adjustment. Get a hobby, apply for a job in adjacent field or something. 35 is not even halfway in life to feel like that

I know you say that out of jest but I can’t afford to change careers. I am very overpaid for what I do

I really can't tell you how much more content I got with life when I just started telling myself not everything was for me. I mean that in two ways - (1) you've got to serve other things than yourself, and (2) all the achievements, material goods, wealth, family situations, hobbies, etc. aren't meant for you. You're not going to do all the traveling you'd like, have all the career success you'd like, have all the relationships you'd like, etc.
That's not an excuse for idleness - I've made plenty of strides since then and I'm busier than ever, but I don't spin wheels worrying about things that seem out of reach or that passed me by. Other dudes can have those things and I hope they enjoy them.

I’ll let you know when I get there.

You have issues if you're burned out at 35.

Well my life has sucked arse so far so it is bound to get better.

Sounds like you don't have any goals set. Priority No. 1 Set 3 month and 1 year Goals. Priority No. 2 quit being a bi@tch....and go workout.

You are just getting started, jeeze.

don’t see my fitness improving a lot
In my 50s now, I am in better shape than 30s. I wish I knew then, what I know now about fitness. Head over to the H&F board and talk to some of the peeps there. Being physically healthy helps you mentally.
Maybe get your T levels checked as well, could be running low. Plenty of people on H&F can share their journey.

Don’t see career heading to greener pastures
Try to tweak it, whatever you are doing. If there is no wiggle room, is there something else you want to get into.

How do you deal with it?
Have sex. Life is better with regular sex.
Get hobbies. You cannot live just going to work and coming home to sleep.

Is "more" smarter smarter than just smarter?

Try to stop starting shitty threads. Might help with your burnout.

Start subtracting things from your life. Life is as complex or simple as you make it. Downsize and cut back on expenses. Put less into religion & politics. Forget others expectations of how you should live.

Life is really good for those that embrace it, constantly work to improve, and have a strong sense of purpose, and a good attitude. I guess it kinda sucks for those that feel like a victim all the time.
thats fine and I do agree somewhat, but you sound just like the other comment. It is different for kids growing up in this era than your era.
Your era was easy and you could afford a living without an education.

When did you know you capped out in life?
When I was born?
I may not remember it, but that may have been the high point. Not complaining, it has been an interesting run, but sure has not been easy.
