It means that the person who you've been in contact with is not actually that person. It's either some morbidly obese woman or a dude who gets off on flirting with guys, often scheduling meet ups but never actually meeting up because it would blow up their whole charade. If they still try to continue to talk to you and flirt, then that's a pretty big giveaway. I assume you never face timed this person? How many pics have you seen of her? Maybe try a reverse google image search and see where that takes you.

I think in general, there's a generation, maybe two generations of people that just don't have good manners, not only in dating.
In business, a lot of people don't have good manners when it comes to professionalism. There are a lot of things that people consider professionalism that just boil down to a good manners
Like notifying someone you're supposed to meet that you're running late or you're not gonna make it.

I don’t know, but it appears to be totally acceptable now.
I used to sell spare tickets to football games at my cost, just so they wouldn’t go unused. Fully half of the people never showed up after they said they wanted the tickets….and these were almost always posters on this board.
Nowadays, if I have spare tickets, if my buds don’t want them I just donate them to the military.

That’s why it was so infuriating. It’s not the first time that I have been stood up and it’s probably not the last. However it is the strangest.
