When did most white people start naming their kids like dogs?

What year do you think was the turning point?

Before this year more kids were named Robert than Bryder but after this year more kids were named Brieghleigh than Lee Ann.

I think it was 2009. Bunch more broke people figure a fancy name is free.

Around the time that they started to treat their dogs like people.

It started when hospitals started putting those digital signs announcing baby names. Women started trying to one up each other.

It's why I named my daughter Mildred.

Hell I was wondering when white people started naming their dogs like their kids.
Came across a dog the other day named "McKinlee", which is equally bad on either front.

If I saw a dog named Jaydon I’d probably just fricking shoot it to put it out of its misery

Naw man, but heard it at the dog park. Didn’t know if a kid or a dog would respond.

A pit with a head bigger basketball responded. I could tell it had “the thirst” too.

To be honest it’s better than most of these “career moms”who make barely enough money to cover the costs of child care and their clothes bills.

I don’t see how anyone who could dump their baby off at a childcare place and sleep at night

In my opinion, this stems from every millennial growing up being told they are special. Because millennials today believe everyone is unique and special, they want to give their children a unique and special name.

I always appreciated pets with non-pet names. My neighbor has a dog named Josh. I had a snake named Keith. What’s the problem?

Mutt and Jeff were around in the early 1900’s so I guess we are coming full circle.
