This was a thing way back in like 2009. They try to lure you with alcohol. I never went because it’s an absolute beta move. Men should never be present at such. Even Homosexual men have no place there.

For me growing up baby showers were basically a normal family party with some gifts opened in the middle

Never thought it was weird or anything

Don’t get me started on the “baby moon” movement. Women want everything and more these days.

It’s because you’re a soy and your woman doesn’t respect you

I thought the same thing when I was told I had to attend a wedding shower. It was called a Honey-Do shower.

This is fake news and it is a trap. 15 years ago I got hustled with this line. My BIL's baby momma's baby shower, "oh it's co-eds, dudes grilling on the porch and drinking beer, girls inside".

bullshite. The only men there were me and the daddy. And no alcohol, it was a fundamentalist Christian host. There was no grill.

Don't fall for the bullshite.

When a pregnant woman discovered a way to get more gifts.

This is what happens when men stop carrying pocket knives on a daily basis.

And men wonder why their wives cheat on them

It's a new thing and it's fricking terrible. They want men to attend to be their entertainment....you're going to get dragged into stupid games the entire time so they can film and giggle. I went to one then said no more.

It’s not that unusual. It’s situational — especially if other dudes are coming through, not that big a deal.

I had a family member invite a few guys to one.

We sat in the back porch, smoked cigars, and drank Jefferson’s ocean reserve.

I thought this, but the one I went to all the guys were harassed into playing stupid baby games.... I don't think I was left alone for more than 10 minutes.

Next time I was invited it was...yea! The guys are invited and I think they got alot of games planned.... said frick no

I've been to a few but they were at restaurants and the husbands all sat at the bar getting drunk. So dunno if you could say I was at the shower or just meeting up with husbands of the girls there to drink

Ask you wife for the use of your spine so you can tell her you're not going to no damn baby shower.: cheers:

Then again, I'm 71 and when I was a young man, women wouldn't even consider asking their husbands to attend---------and even if mine did, I'd refuse to go.

I don't want to see a bunch of women yakking it up and opening presents of baby clothes, diapers, baby toys and cooing over every present........NOPE.

I've always understood them to be female-only deals, yet I am being dragged to my SIL's for one today.

A team of Clydesdales couldn't drag me to a frickin' baby shower.

Are you the only guy going?

Will there be alcohol and food?
