The Stasi called and would like its policy back. Her attitude is why this country isn’t completely socialist by now. You realize elderly women are fragile and a physical encounter with a more powerful man will be physically and emotionally traumatic? I hope she found a good lawyer.

I wish he would’ve let her stand all the way up before having her ride the lightning. That way she could’ve tightened up and fell over like a board instead of tumbling over like a sack of fat filled potatoes.

He should have put some lead in her after she ran.

You run from the cops you should be put in the ground.

I’m a regular person with the maturity not to lay my hands on an ornery, elderly woman. It’s indecent for a woman with a broken taillight and a bit of an attitude to be treated this way.

It's either indecent to treat a human this way, or it isn't. I'm fricking tired of people attempting nice calculations as to who deserves what level of deference and respect.

So, you want to live in a country where people are killed for disobedience? Would you feel this way if it was a veteran having a flashback? Honestly, most of these responses are sick, incel bs.

Well, if that's the case, then running from the cops is a bad idea.

He was more than accommodating. Driving away from the cops in the middle of a stop is a crime, chief.

A felony at that.

I really want to know what that $80 ticket turned into after bail, trial, lawyer and all other associated fees

A nice settlement if she found a lawyer worth his salt.

Oh please shut the fck up with your whining. She had many many chances to sign the ticket and shut the hell up.
When you decide to not listen and drive away from at cop, the playing nice time is over.

That cop didn't break any laws or dept policies. Maybe you can sue on her behalf.

Open and shut excessive force. If policies allow for that, the department can enjoy being a party to the suit. I guarantee you, by the time I subpoena the cop’s arrest records and complaints against the department, they’d be happy to quietly settle before playing that tape for a jury.

I didn't think refusing to sign a ticket was an arrestable offense. It really shouldn't be.

The cop should be able to check a box on the ticket that the suspect refused to sign, and let the judge deal with that on her court date. Then both parties would have been on their separate ways, situation over.

Under arrest for not signing a ticket? That's police state bullshite.

FFS. She asked for it, would you have rather he used hard empty hand tactics and threw her to the ground ?

He did what is taught, she chose to go down that road.
