Ah, the old "If I've seen it, everyone else has." Love it.

I suspect most of the downvoters are boomers.

I wish he would’ve let her stand all the way up before having her ride the lightning. That way she could’ve tightened up and fell over like a board instead of tumbling over like a sack of fat filled potatoes.

I wish he would said "You boomers need to realize that your time is over" when he was tasing.

The verbal contract shifted once she drove away. At that point, the offer to sign the ticket was off of the table due to the fact that a felony had now been enacted.

these fake attorneys, or attorneys that act like they know so much when they never see a criminal courtroom, are quite humorous to me.

The officer had discretion to let her sign before she drove away. He chose to escalate at points where de escalation was available. He then brutalized an elderly woman using patently excessive force.
Tax law includes criminal law.

But the video is still causing a divide. Some are unhappy with the way the Cashion police officer handled the case. “I think it’s all gone a little bit overboard," Lenhart said. The Cashion Police Department is not commenting on the video due to pending litigation.

Yep, that contingent showing up to defend her sure doesn’t bode well for trial.

The attorney representing a woman involved in a confrontation with a Cashion police officer over an $80 ticket has released a statement, saying the officer’s actions were “egregious and unnecessary.”

Guess it’s another fake or know nothing attorney

ETA: here’s her attorney- great school, former district attorney, experienced trial lawyer. Lol

“The actions of the Cashion Police Department on July 16 were egregious and unnecessary. The thought that a 65-year-old woman, known to the community as the grandmother of two boys lost in the 2012 Piedmont Tornado, needed to be tased and arrested for not signing a ticket offends common notions of decency. The people of Cashion and the State of Oklahoma are no safer because of the actions of [the officer]. His unnecessary escalation and use of force served no purpose other than to torment and embarrass Ms. Hamil. We are exploring all legal actions which may be taken to vindicate Ms. Hamil’s civil rights.”

That sentence offends the common notions of what happened. And that’s coming from someone that thinks the officer screwed up too.

Dude, most boomers are either dead, retired or near retirement age. I don't know where you run into so many of these people everyday that you get so triggered.

Disgusting. He should’ve deescalated when she said she’d sign the ticket. Immature, low IQ thug with a badge. No wonder our police forces are filled with domestic abusers. I can’t believe so many of y’all cheer on this third world, authoritarian crap.

Best in its state and top 50 nationwide. That’s a solid school. Where’d you go?

I really liked when he said the white bulb in the tail light could blind someone. Yet the cops run those bright arse LED's that do blind you, all in the name of officer safety.

That was disgusting abuse of power for a damn tail light ticket.

None of the rankings really matter between T14 and 100. You should know that if you are what you purport to be.

Agreed. She should have just signed the ticket and gone on her way.
