Except that little part where she drove off after being told she was under arrest. LOL
I’m just glad she wasn’t a fat old black woman. More stupids would be upset about this.

I didn't think refusing to sign a ticket was an arrestable offense. It really shouldn't be. The cop should be able to check a box on the ticket that the suspect refused to sign, and let the judge deal with that on her court date. Then both parties would have been on their separate ways, situation over. Under arrest for not signing a ticket? That's police state bullshite
It is. It's an acknowledgement that you'll appear at court unless you pay the fine.
It's the reason why they stopped issuing tickets via the mail. There was no signature so they weren't obligated to go to court.

I can see this happening to my mom if she gets pulled over. I should start saving up bail money

More like high-level tax work, but I appreciate your attempt to demean my profession instead of providing a substantial argument.

FFS. She asked for it, would you have rather he used hard empty hand tactics and threw her to the ground ?
I’d rather he let her sign when she offered and kept his brutish hands off of her.

Compelling argument, officer.

I’m an old boomer and I side with the cop. Woman caused it to happen.

I bet you sign your name with Esq. behind it on restaurant receipts.

Lol, I use Postmates. Sorry to poop on your police state, sadism party. However, it doesn’t mean I’m a crappy lawyer or a d-bag. I just get upset when an old lady is brutalized. Your grudge against the educated is showing.

Really with the siren, though? Cops and ambulances run their sirens too damn much.

It’s incredibly telling that when you want to insult my intelligence/education, you insinuate I’m black/went to a black school. Why are you so angry with women and black people? Do you just need to feel good about yourself for merely existing?

She earned what she got.... you can’t take off and then kick an officer
But he could’ve been a good guy and gotten it back on track when she offered to sign instead of arrest.... And in the era of cameras, I think signing or arrest is an outdated law too.

I am as well. She called the draw and put him in a bad place with few choices from the time she refused to sign, rolled up the window, and locked the door.
When she refused to sign, I thought he could have done a little better job of explaining her signature didn't admit guilt and only acknowledged her receipt of the citation and her responsibilities relative to it.
I love how this is used by OP to "out" Boomers as universally "self-entitled" as though that's exclusive to Boomers.
