Go to work and power through like a man.

I can't fathom men of 50 years ago thinking like people today. "how do I get through the day???? I'm so sleepy."

Current mood.

Slept in 3 different beds last night. Started in mine, kid 1 kicked me out so I swapped, kid 2 kicked her out so I went to kid 2 bed and 1 got in her own bed.

Will be consuming all of the mg's of ambition today.

I say I will take a nap as soon as I get home but as stated, the 2nd wind will be strong as soon as I walk in the door.

Coffee and wait for my second wind to carry me through. You usually feel pretty decent after you get going.

Guess you don't have young kids. This is a daily issue for those with little kids. You grind though and do it again...

Keep on your feet and keep your mind busy. Caffeine only goes so far. When we had newborn twins I had so much caffeine one day that when I crashed that night, I actually woke up, soothed a crying baby, had a conversation with my wife and went back to sleep. When I woke back up a couple hours later I had no recollection of doing any of that. Weirded me out, so on days following rough nights I'd just avoid tasks that required me to sit for long.

I found that accepting I will always be tired has helped in not getting “enough” sleep. That is, I can sleep 8 hours straight, wake up to an alarm and feel like a zombie all day. So those days I only sleep half the night, I no longer psych myself out that I didn’t sleep enough.

If I am going to be tired either way, I’d rather have more time in the day. So typically I just wake up when I start hearing birds or feel the day break.

Update — pretty tired. Can’t nap.

Ironically had a pretty good day. Decided I wasn’t going to think much of it and just did what I felt like. Ran 4 miles, finished all my work, about to read and hopefully pass out.

Or you can get 60 tablets of b12 from Walmart for $4. Take one, have a cup of coffee. You can even get B12 that dissolves under your tongue, or use drops under the tongue, etc.

Surprised i had to get to page 3 to see B vitamins. I get 4d Clean Energy from walmart, but even some types of EmergenC are loaded with it. Youll feel a lot better than if you slam caffeine all day.
