Work put me up a few months as part of relocation package and I never want to see a Hyatt house breakfast again

Two weeks in Karlsruhe when one of my kids was doing graduate work-study there.

Got to know the City and the nearby area really well.

June of 2023, was up in Omaha, Ne. For the College World Series. Told the family I’d be home when they lose out. They didn’t, was there for 12 days.

Always wanted to go there, how was the weather?

It's great in the summer.

Nice beaches, great food.

Cold as frick in the winter though.

In 2019 I was in South Korea for 2 weeks then flew to Alaska for another couple weeks.

It was warmer in Alaska.

Just over 9 weeks for work. We stayed in the, new at the time, Envoy hotel a minute's walk from the Federal Court House in Boston. The bill was just under $20k for my room, and we had a total of 4.

Stayed at the W Hotel in Union Square (in NYC) for 15 months nonstop. That was a hefty bill my client paid for.

Did about 4 months back in 2004 for work in Paducah, KY. Wasn't too bad and ended up with ... best I remember about 15 - 20 free stays with Marriott on the points I earned.

or that big garden tub.

You joke, but I didn't have as nice of a tub like I did in that trailer until 3 houses later (houses without wheels ).

A little over 3.5 months.

I was in flight school and my lease ended and didn’t want to sign a 6 or 12 mo lease since I was moving once I finished.

You get used to housekeeping, room service, and laundry.

I could definitely live in a hotel permanently like an eccentric 1960s millionaire

You stayed in a hotel for a year and a half straight??

Over 19 months. It really wasn’t too bad. After the 3rd month they just moved me to a suite and got me a full size fridge and a hot plate and let me cook in my room.

I’ve had a lot of staying in hotels for work. In 2021 after Covid I stayed in a hotel for a little over 200 days. I have a bunch of other 100 plus day stays.

Stayed in a Residence Inn 2 weeks on, 1 week off for 6 months working on a project in Cleveland, Ohio one time. I guess it wasn't continuous at least.

Scottsdale is sweet even in the summer. Different heat. Tolerable.
What resort is that? Camelback Inn?

2 months in Dallas, 25 years ago for work. I think I gained 20 pounds from eating at good restaurants everyday.
