What's your favorite things about being a Dad?

My son recently turned 4 and his imagination is really blossoming. He's hyper focused lately on Marvel heroes, dinosaurs, trucks and trains.
My current favorite activities are being forced to run around playing spiderman or hulk after a long day of work. And spending hours looking up dinosaurs on Google and YouTube. He's a pile of fun at this age.
What's your favorite part?
(Moms can play too! But not TransDads. You're an abomination)

My current favorite thing is my 2 year old asking for chips and "hummy" (hummus) on a blllllue plate. She just learned how to make the L sound but it takes a lot of effort.

I enjoy the time me and Brenlynyn spend every afternoon working on his velo and bat speed.
He’s 10 and tossing it around 70mph and has a great ball exit speed.
We train everyday after school 3:30-7pm and sat-sun 5:30am-3pm.
He gets tired of it but he doesn’t realize it’s for his own benefit.

Ok here's my honest response from a dad of 3 grown children. I have a 18, 19, 21 year old and each one of them has grown into a person that I am proud of. Each has their own quality that makes them unique too you as a parent. My oldest is a bit lazy but would help a lady across the street, the middle child my daughter(no pics) earned a full ride scholarship to play soccer in Georgia, my youngest ( the baby) has my sense of humor and needs me to stay on his arse to get shite done but has already enrolled in college to be a firefighter/emt. It ain't always easy being a dad but a open line of communication and stern look when they get out of hand goes a long way. I loved them the day they were born and will leave this world loving them. My daughter is 12 and she's been a blast. She's a daddy's girl and always curious what I'm doing and asks some interesting questions.
I can't say that I'm particularly looking forward to the teenaged years though

I can think about my 32 and 37 year old sons, and know with certainty that:
1) they're not assholes
2) they are productive citizens
3) they chose fantastic spouses
4) it's hard to screw kids up if you concentrate on doing the right thing all the time

My daughter is the most like me. She is competitive and works hard too be the best she can both in the classroom and in sports. She learned the hard way in some instances. Couldn't play her sophomore year of soccer due to grades and she was the only freshman that made the team the year before. She was always driven to get better she did the extra practice when the others went home. The life thing hit her too when one of her best friends was killed in a car accident last year. She gets it but my boys don't get me started.

My daughter is a harder worker than I was at her age. She's a straight A student, runs track and cross country and is an overall easy going kid. She definitely has my personality for good or worse.

Being able to go to kid movies without being looked at as weird.
Being 37 and still able to run around the house playing nerf wars with the kiddo
Even if work and the day sucked , you come home to young eyes that see you as nothing but a hero.
Even when they are bad ( to a certain age) it's kind of funny..
The feeling you are always smarter.... until that common core math bs shows up.
Mine is 14.. and he has a good heart. Straight B student but I blame the fortnite.
Wouldn't change a thing..
