Fun fact...All Folgers Coffee is roasted right off of I-10 in New Orleans East just north of the highrise.

That is about the most fragrant part of driving through the city as some days you can get a nice whiff of freshly roasted coffee instead of a French Quarter sewer.

It is such a pleasant moment when crossing the highrise. Folgers actually has two plants. The one you referring to and another plant at the very edge of New Orleans east.

I'd second the Cafe Bustelo, very reasonably priced and has a bolder taste than Community.

third on the Bustelo. Best grounds you can buy in the grocery store, IMO.

Just wait until West Baton Rouge and East Baton Rouge get into a tariff war for goods crossing the Mississippi River to pay themselves back from their assistance to Livingston in the Ascension/Livingston War.

Once we stop the influx of meth and its users from Tangi, Ascension will be victorious!

Don't let tariffs be the answer for this one, its been rising in the specialty scene because the smaller farms saw it first

I drink a lot of CC coffee (well, used to). CC retail shelf price nearly doubled in price when tariffs were announced. With own eyes seen at Winn Dixie and Costco.

Not a % increase but a multiple. This is tariff!

Why don't you buy MADE IN AMERICA coffee you commie?! We're protecting domestic coffee production with these tariffs, dont you see?

My grocer told me it's because Community got bought by somebody and they jacked up prices. The smaller bag went from $7.99 to $11.99 overnight.

I like River Road as an alternative. Will have to try Bustelo.

Community Coffee Cafe Special is arguably some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Their breakfast blend is also pretty good.

I'm probably in the minority, but I don't think Hawaiian coffee is anything special.

Not terrible or anything, but it usually comes with a hefty premium that isn't worth it IMO.

We only buy Community Coffee. The prices have been increasing for the last couple of years, before tariffs.

And all Community Coffee is roasted in Baton Rouge, but the issue is with the beans because other than Hawaii, all coffee is grown internationally.
