re: What's the worst video that you've seen on the Internet?

I absolutely refuse to watch videos of terrorists brutally killing people for any reason. I already know about man's inhumanity toward other men and don't need to see video proof of the cruel things some people do to others.

This is almost word for word, my mantra whenever graphic murder or death videos start going around.

I was in college around the explosion of the internet as we know it somewhat today. I took an ethics class that had us visit sites like gorezone and rotten dot com. Saw lots of crazy stuff.

I really thought I was desensitized to death until the ISIS videos started making the rounds and, as mentioned, the video of the kids brutalizing a homeless guy with a hammer and screwdriver. That one really left me feeling bothered and hopeless for the world.

The final gore video I watched was one that made the rounds of a soldier kicking a captured soldier and then cutting his head off with a massive knife. The sounds that guy made and the look of terror in his face haunted me. I realized I never needed to see another thing purely driven by morbid curiosity. It’s been many years since I’ve subjected myself to that side of “humanity”.

I accept it’s part of the world we live in and just try to do my part to not be one of the monsters.

The two Mexicans that the cartel has sitting against a wall, hands tied behind their backs. One, they cut his head off with a chainsaw. So the second dude witnesses it and knows he's next. I want to say they just used a knife on him.
Then there was the one that they had pit-bulls eating his penis and sack off of his body. Those dudes are ruthless!

Thanks. The fact that a youtuber who claims gore/shock vids don’t really affect him saying this one made him nauseous and had a visceral reaction makes me think I’ll skip it.

His telling of it was enough for me. fricking brutal.
