Dead body. There was an old Spanish man who lived in the apartment next to mine. They kept putting notices on his door because he never paid his December rent. Finally sometime around Christmas they did a wellness check and found him dead. Coroner says he’s definitely been dead since before Thanksgiving.
When they opened the door it was the absolute worst smell and it stuck in the hallway for weeks.

My wife loves durian and I just got used to the smell doesn’t bother me anymore
Does the fruit itself stink or does it make her have bad farts or something?

a guy who used to work here had not been to the dentist since he was a kid and when he breathed on you it would singe hairs off

My little bro killed a raccoon and left it to rot in an ice chest for a couple weeks. Could smell it an acre away.

Client of mine found in her bathroom that had been dead for close to 10 days.

Oh god you just brought back a memory of my days auditing chicken/egg farms in north Arkansas. Disgusting smell

Yeah, that's a bad one. I was a food safety officer for the Dept. of Ag. in the 90s and I spent a couple of years at the Sanderson Farms plant in Hammond.
Equally as bad is the blood trap/floor drains on a slaughterhouse kill floor. That was probably worse than the chicken plant because the slaughterhouses I used to inspect were never air-conditioned or refrigerated except for the coolers.

My refrigerators/freezers ten days after Hurricane Katrina.

As many have mentioned, the Katrina freezer smells were insanely bad.
We had a rodent in the attic and my son set a trap up there.
A dead rotting squirrel in August is a pretty damn bad smell too.

Hood abscess and an abscess on a cat. Nauseating.
Close second was a freezer full of deer and rabbit meat that crapped out in August. Abscesses were worse though.

Katrina fridge. 12 days of no power before removal. Duct taped around the body and taped the seams. Still disgusting.
Winner here for me and was worst because I had deer roast in the freezer, wild game takes things to a new level.

A skinny girl’s cooch after she ate taco bell. It smelt like onions and I ran for the border.
