My kid is circumcised, but
This won’t really be the case for the current generation. Medicaid quit paying for it, which cuts out a large part of the population.
I just googled & found this: “Today only 33 percent of babies are being circumcised, compared to 56 percent five years ago and 90 percent sixty years ago, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”
Our circumcised kids will be the weird ones

I think it’s worse to give your kid some ridiculous name that they have to try and spell in the first grade.

Did you hear about that kid that was born with no eye lids? They used his circumcised skin to make eyelids. Surgery went pretty good except he was a little cock eyed.

I wish I had not been circumcised, so if I have a son, I'm going to leave that decision up to him.

Men who are circumcised has very little chance of developing penile cancer.

The mohel had a canker sore.
ETA: I'm so glad someone got that one. I was wondering if it was a little too "Lower East Side" for this crowd.

Penile cancer rates are higher in uncircumcised men also.
Uncle had this and they cut his dick off. Not the foreskin, the whole damn sausage, or most of it. He was old and probably didn't care but that has to be a rough conversation with the doctor. Bad news: you have cancer. Good news: you might survive if we cut your pecker off.

At that point, you start rawdogging hookers and see if the AIDS or the cancer gets you first.

I don’t want to mutilate my children so that they can fit in.

That’s an adjective, not an answer.

Ok... you’re like leaves blowing in the wind, susceptible to momentary wind directions of the day, and no standards. Tomorrow, it will be some other nut ball tangent you’re on.. blowing in the wind. Whatever the new tangent is, you’ll be in it like you made it up yourself.

It's a lot more about being healthy, protecting from disease, and increased ease of personal hygiene than fitting in. But yeah, not being known as the kid with the weird dick will probably help his social development.

Yeah, you’re feelings don’t really amount to much.

I'm cut. My son isn't. We've talked about it.
Reason? It's pointless. And I'm not a fricking sheep who just "does things that everyone else does."

REAL popular with the Muslims. Are you Muslim? Are you Jewish?
Don't do it for medical reasons. There are none. There are no other body modifications we make on infants as a matter of course.

The prevalence of circumcision is the percentage of males in a given population who have been circumcised. The rates vary widely by country, from virtually 0% in Honduras and Japan, to 6.6% in Spain, to 20.7% in the United Kingdom,[1] to 45% in South Africa, to 75% in the United States,[2][3][4] to over 90% in Israel and many Muslim-majority countries.[2][5][6] In 2010, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimated 30% of adult males worldwide (aged 15+) are circumcised, with about two-thirds of those being Muslims
