What’s the reason for not circumcising your kid?

I know there will be some response coming to the tune of “well what’s the reason to do it?”

Reason to do it are obvious IMO

Living in America virtually everyone is circumcised, your kid would be an oddball on that front forever, probably face ridicule in the locker room with his friends, and have to explain it to girls when he’s older. It’s also easier to clean when they are babies and as you get older. If they decide to get circumcised later in life it is going to be hella painful and hella expensive. So why would you inflict that on your kid when it’s a simple procedure that an infant recovers from in a week?


I’m asking because I just found out friends of mine are deciding not to circumcise their kid and I can’t think of a reason why other than they want to be different I guess
