It also provides additional nooks and crannies for spiders to build webs.

The light bar is really helpful during gang initiation season when we flash our brights at random people

Off-Road magazine survey found the one item off roaders added to their vehicles that received little use was additional lighting.

Funny because I use a winch much less than my lights on my SxS

Have used the winch only twice in 6 years

Yeah, that doesn't make much sense...they are on when I'm offroad. That's the whole idea.

Don't use the winch as much, but by god when I need it, i really really need it and it's there.

I saw an old chevy caprice up on 20s in Raleigh that had a light bar across the front. Was this for twerk competitions or something?

Idgaf if someone has one on their truck.

But I do find it super douchey when they ride around town with it turned on...at noon...on a sunny day...without a single cloud in the sky

I use mine for batting practice.

I park my truck at the end of our driveway, make my kid stand at the other end, then I stand on the my truck roof and hit line drives at him.

He’s got to learn to catch balls that get lost in lights if he’s going to make the major leagues. Professionals don’t play games at 10:00am.

There are only two justifiable reasons to own a light bar:

1) If you make a living as a safari game hunter

2) To establish dominance in Bawcomville
