Most of the people on here who speak negatively about chiropractors are ones that have never had any experience whatsoever with one.

I worked at a chiro clinic that was integrated with medical and many forms of rehab and therapy (functional rehab, exercise/PT, massage therapy, ultrasound, cupping, trigger point/joint/tendon injections with homeopathic meds, stem cell injections, dry-needling, Graston Technique, e-stim, kinesio taping, etc.).

This is where many chiros are headed because this multidisciplinary approach works. I saw 100s of people have dramatic improvements. Many of them had tried many different approaches over the years with little to no improvement until they saw us.

Like with all health professionals, some are better than others as I saw in this company which has three clinics.

I’m so relaxed afterwards, it’s nap time.

I haven’t been in months. About time to make an appointment.

I wish I could relax enough to do that. I’m anxious while getting a massage.

Just get some Percocet or Oxycontin. You wont need a massage or chiropractor. The Oxycontin may have you making as many return trips as the chiropractor though

I’ve never been but the YouTube videos of them “adjusting” people’s back and neck are extremely satisfying

They have never helped my back or neck, except for temporary relief, but one did ultrasound therapy on my shoulder and it worked great.

Ive been to one a handful of times and it feels pretty cool. I don’t know if they solve any problems but for $20 or whatever you copay is it’s worth a shot.

I knew an orthopedic surgeon in Bama that spoke highly of them.

My closest neighbor is an old drunk chripractor and one of my wife's sisters is a massage therapist. I love inviting them to the same party and waiting for the accusations of quackery to fly.

that’s what sparked me asking the question. It looks like it would feel great.

Helped me. I also second the advice to get a massage on a regular basis. It also helps.

The people that swear by them seem to need to go to them often.

Most of what they do, you can accomplish at home with daily stretching and yoga.

Say what you will about them BUT the one I have gone to actually listened to me when the orthos didn't and ordered an MRI and found my issue which required surgery to fix. Ortho didn't give me the time of day until I needed them to fix the issue that the chiro basically found.

You can be referred to a chiropractor by a lawyer. All you need to know.

I mean anyone can refer you to anyone. Many chiros are in cahoots with lawyers. But when I was in a bad accident and had to get a lawyer, they referred me to MD doctors as well. But again, the chiro business model is often chasing ambulances.

I go to one who just works on athletes and it's pretty much the exact same as the PT I went to before switching to him.

I go from time to time and it’s amazing.

It keeps me in the weightlifting game and keeps me from being an old decrepit human.

I work on flexibility and mobility often but some things i just need popped and reset

A little vertebral artery dissection never hurt anybody.

Just walk it off, rub some dirt on it.
