I have never been but damn I feel like I could use a good back pop and adjustment. Anyone have bad experiences or do they mostly help?

I think they’re mostly BS. Get a massage and some PT if you’re having ongoing issues.

I worked with a guy that went to one once. I told him he had sciatica and just take some aleeve. He went to the Chiro and could balrely move for about 2 days. After that he was fine I asked what happened he said he was so sore from the Chiro that he had been taking Aleeve for 2 days straight.

They're okay I guess. But some can have a twisted sense of humor.

A good one can do wonders for you. And some are much better than others.

You can be referred to a chiropractor by a lawyer. All you need to know.

Agreed on chiro being bs but PT is mostly bs too.

You made it this far in life without one, why start now?

In the late 70's we went to school with a girl whose father was a chiropractor. They were all considered quacks back then.
She gave my buddy a handie.

Not as bad as crystal healers but still bs.

They are few and far between, but I’d go to one who was also an MD. Other than that I’m going to a PT.

I have seen benefit from their treatment in a few situations...however, I have seen a lot of crazy claims from them that I think are ridiculous. I find that if you have some kind of legit skeletal issue, they can usually find it and help.
One thing that I really find to be pretty shitty is that they are keenly aware of the # of visits that your insurance allows and will really do anything in their power to keep you coming back over and over....once you get to the end of insurance eligibility, you are miraculously cured.

I've heard some people say they like it
But from what little research I've done most of them are fricking quacks
I'd go with massage therapy as others mentioned
