I'm not quite that size, but I swear a third of my back was off the glideway went coming down some of those turns. I loved it 20 years ago. My eldest daughter and I were first to the big water slides and slide down it like 8 times before the line got long. Never have I laughed as much. Don't know if I'd go to one now, maybe only during early morning and then depending on what part of the country.

I got hit on more often with my wedding ring firmly attached to my finger than when I never wore one. It's like women think you're "safe" or something since you're married and it's like that becomes a challenge to them to see if they can get you to stray in their direction.

So I’m taking my two boys (14 and 11) and a friend to a water park in N Charleston tomorrow

The last time I went to a water park it was as a chaperone for my daughter and 20 other young models from her agency. I can hardly begin to describe the chaos that ensued. Some of them wore bikinis from Victoria's Secret, and a dozen of them got into an outdoor shower together and posed for photos. They sneaked in healthy snacks, and the topper was a banana-eating contest. I saw grown men bury their faces in their hands to avoid watching. Your two boys would have been reduced to a catatonic state.

Water park? It's disgusting. I'm sitting there in a tepid pool of my own filth -- and everyone else's.

Love waterparks. I have very fond memories of Schlitterbahn trips with my son back in the day.

As for folks relieving themselves in the water, we see it every dang day while walking the beach. Some idiots walk out knee high and squat. Poor fishies (who are also relieving themselves)

Haven't been to one in years. Last time I went to one was White Water in Atlanta. A few weeks after we went, Walt Weiss's son caught some bacteria from fecal matter and nearly died.

I like the slides okay enough, but the waiting in line in a wet bathing suit got old. We were there on a pretty crowded day so most of the lines were 30-60 minutes.

I loved them when I was a kid and still love them today. I’m mid 40’s now and take my 14 and 7 year old every chance I get. I go on everything right along with them. Call it America, call it red neck America. We love em and always have a blast.

If that's your thing bro do it, why would you care what people on a message board thinks?

I'd only judge if you go on cruises.
