My mom gave me a Hypercolor T-shirt in the early nineties. She passed away not long after that and I have kept that shirt to this day. I haven’t worn it in years but I still think of her every time I dig through my closet.

Yes, it still fits
An outright brag and nothing else.

I know I've got a football jersey from the 9th grade, 1974, on a shelf. Might still have one from the 7th or 8th. No regular shirts that I would put on and wear.

I have a Wrangler overall jacket that was my grandfather's that I would still wear. Haven't worn it in about 5 years, because I don't dress that casually too often since I don't hunt any more. He died in 1972. It was old, faded, and the elastic in the shoulders was all stretched out back then. Except for church, funerals or family meetings with attorneys, I wear shorts all summer. Don't wear blue jeans much Like lighter ripstop work pants with lots of pockets instead. I can wear them to the attorneys office.

Once it gets cold, I'll wear my one pair of old faded jeans, just so I can wear this jacket. Don't want to go five years again without wearing it.

ETA: Thanks for this thread reminding me I need to wear his jacket!

For Christmas during my senior year in high school, a friend gave me maroon Lacoste socks because we were both going to A&M.

That was 1984, and I still have them. Never wear them.

I keep them so that when I meet somebody new that seems a little full of themselves, I can say “I have socks older than you.”

1st concert I ever went to as a teenager.
Joan was the headliner, playing in St. Joseph MO, with Britney Fox as the opener.

Mine has had many more runs through the washer/dryer than the one in that pic tho :-(

I have a couple of Eagles Hell Freezes over shirts from 1994 when they went to New Orleans. That's the probably the oldest but im sure I have several in the 20+ year range.

Thinking about it, I also have a Saints Cha-Ching tshirt and AI says that was a 1991 thing. I do remember Ricky Jackson was on the team when that was a thing.

I have a couple that have become a tad faded, but I wore them for work when I worked on Maui about 15 years ago. They are monotone rather than those loud multicolored Aloha shirts. It's what the locals were wearing then.

Maybe I'm trying to pull a Jimmy Buffett vibe.

My clothes say, "hold my beer":

-- Have my high school varsity letter jacket and soccer jersey in a downstairs closet (1982; 44 years old). Don't wear them, but I did put the jacket on for a photo op with my former teammate and it somehow fits.

-- Have a Pendleton wool sweater that I still wear regularly in the winter months that I got for Christmas in 1988 (38 years ago).

-- Saints Super Bowl championship T-shirt from 2010 (16 years ago). In my regular closet, wear it sparingly.

Also have caps from LSU's 1st College World Series championship (1991), Georgia Tech National Champs in football (1990), and an LA Dodgers fitted baseball cap I bought the night I graduated from college (1986).
