Scruffy has shirts from 20+ years ago, but they are from concerts or trips.

Grabbed a shirt out of the drawer this morning that I had in high school. Yes, it still fits (not fat).
At this point it’s almost 10 years old. Crazy!

My oldest dress shirt is 18 years old, and the seam of the side with the button holes split the last time I wore it. Pretty good run for Roundtree & Yorke.
I still have my Hard Rock t-shirt I bought on my honeymoon in The Bahamas, so it’s 20 years old. Couple of part shirts from college, but I don’t/can’t wear them anymore- those are 23-24 years old.

The oldest shirt I have is a concert T from the 1977 Led Zeppelin US tour. I got it at the show at the Omni in ATL on my 10th birthday. In a serendipitous moment, they were all out of mediums at the merch stand, and I had to get a large so it fit perfectly from a few years later until today.* The cotton has worn to a neat gossamer, and I wash it with the care of a museum curator. It is one of my prized possessions. I also have a CBGB T from about the same time but I think it is slightly newer.
* I can wear a modern medium, but they tend to be a bit tight in the shoulders, a 1970s large fits almost perfectly on me now. A 1970s medium would have a beyond smedium fit.

Probably my Happy Note t shirt collection. They were all bought in the early 90’s.
Have a few Magnolia Cafe shirts from the 90’s.
Also have the same Magellan fishing shirt I was wearing when my daughter was born and she’s 20 now.

I was the captain of our middle school football team that went undefeated. I have the district champs shirt that I wear sometimes in the evening. From 2005, so 21 years old.
We all got XXL so I wear it the same way you'd wear pajamas or any other loose clothing.
I never wear it in public that would be absolutely psychotic.

Oh at least 50+ years old.
All my shirts still fit. Polo button-downs never go out of style and age nicely.
Have jeans at least that old as well.

So wild I just had this conversation with my wife. We were able to accurately date at least 2 shirts to 1994.
I have an older shirt, but technically it was a hand me down from my father. It was his Junior sweater from high school.....he graduated in 1956.
Amazingly, they all still fit me.

Got married in 1987 and we honeymooned in Daytona Beach. On the trip we checked out the Alligator Farm in St Augustine and I bought a T shirt, still have it - kept for sentimental value.
