It feels like you are trapped in your own body. You feel awake and oriented but unable to move/scream/talk. It happened more when I worked nights as a nurse....I think it was just being extremely tired.

It's not a building or street I've ever seen in real life. It's one that my mind created and everytime the dream occurs, I'm already falling

You can understand why people die in their sleep and others say they die "peacefully". What they didn't know is the person had a painful heart attack while trapped in a nightmare. :(

I too worked shift for many years. Some of my worst goofy dreams occurred while sleeping on the sofa after a set of dogs. It always included me thinking I was waking up to get off of the sofa and go lay down in bed. When I would finally wake up on the sofa I was always disoriented for a few seconds.

I’ve never considered that, but I think it certainly has merit.

Night shifts just suck in general...so unhealthy for your body. The money was better but I got to the point I just couldn’t do it anymore. Didn’t matter how much I slept during the day I never felt rested.

When I was 5, I stayed at a daycare for a few months before starting K. I had also watched that Lou Ferrigno TV version of The Incredible Hulk a few times.

The dream started out with the 'normal looking' Hulk actor (David?) dropping off his kid in the morning. When he came to pick his kid up later, they couldn't find him. This led to the guy transitioning into the Hulk. One of my friends at the daycare ran up to him and said 'I'm not scared of you, I've been eating my peanut butter sandwiches and getting stronger!'. The Hulk threw him against the wall knocking him unconscious and looked directly at me (just a few feet away) as I was cowering in the corner. Then I woke up.

It might not be the worst dream I've ever had but I still remember it vividly and the feeling I had when waking up with my heart racing.

I’m running from something I can’t see in a dark swamp with my best friends. One by one it catches my friends and I hear them scream and their bones snap until I’m the last one. I see my truck at the edge of the swamp lights on and reach it and grab the door handle just as a bloody clawed hand grabs my shoulder and then I wake up. Have had this one numerous times

I was back in high school in a school shooting, this happened about 7 years ago and I still shudder thinking about it. Everything in it was so clear and the details were perfect, you know how sometimes when you dream there are a few details that dont match up to real life? Yea well everything about my old high school was on point, from the people in it, to the building, to where I was when it starts.

The other night I had a dream that I was at a fair and my friends were trying to get me to go on some crazy ride. I refused. The ride broke and they all died. Then I met Reviewbrah and he came on to me but I told him I wasnt gay and that my friends had just all died then I woke up.

Have one from childhood still remember to this day. Myself and about dozen other people are tied to steaks in a room, were all shaped in U formation, opening toward a door. Guy walks in with an ax, he uses the opposite end of the large blade (like how some axes have the 4-6 inche blade on other side of handle, fireman?) to stab every one (i am in middle of U, so get to watch few people get stabbed in stomach and scream) until he gets to me. He stares into my eyes and its like he is pure evil, while starting to stab me into I wake up. Have more if u want lol
