What's The Most Unsettling Dream You've Ever Had?

So damn real and debilitating

Teeth falling out = feeling a lack of control. I've had that one.

Inability to walk without great effort is another one I have.

When I was away at college I dreamed that I was walking through a forest. I eventually came upon an old house. I entered, and in the middle of the room was a long cardboard box. Walking over to it, I kicked the lid off it. Inside was my sister, naked and cut in half. She was wearing the bracelet I gave her for Christmas.

Naturally, I was horrified. Some people were outside doing incantations to the devil, so I started throwing rocks at them to get them to leave. Then I woke up.

That dream haunted me all day, so I called my mother and asked if everything was okay at home. She was acting really weird so I knew something was wrong. When the semester was over a week later, I went home and she confessed that my favorite uncle died that night. She did not want to tell me because I had finals. Still freaks me out when I think about it.

So I’m deathly afraid of heights and my biggest fear is falling off a cliff or building or what not to my death.

Just last week while I was sick, on meds and running fever I had a dream that I was getting chased to the top of a building and found myself scaling the building on the outside in a small ledge. It was so real I woke up sweating and hyperventilating, was probably the fever, but anyway it scared the shite out of me

I’m also afraid of walking planks or jumping or stepping over spaces where I could fall

shite happening to my kids. I wake up in a panic not fun at all
