There is a traveling exhibit this summer at the Houston Mus of Natural Science. It’s pretty cool. I would say it blew me away, but it was cool nonetheless.

Someone’s been doing that to me daily for almost a year now. I fricking love that I made someone so upset that they still haven’t given up.

Angkor Wat. Unbelievable. I would give a lot to have seen it back in the 50's or 60's. So massive and so full of details...

Sitting on the beach, fishing, drinking a beer, then these guys give you a fly by.

Last year on the cape, they flew by and all 5 were about 20-30 feet above the water. Hauling arse.

Not sure, but a billionaire road a giant dildo to space this morning and no one on TV acted like there was anything absurd about that.

Pretty impressive to have such large scale cognitive dissonance.

Switzerland, the Alps. Didn't look real even though I was standing right in it. Looked like what I imagine Heaven would look like.

Right before we crossed the berm into Iraq for the first time in 2003 we had 3rd ID and what looked like the entire army lined up at the border in the Kuwaiti desert. The desert in that part of north Kuwait is completely flat and empty so you can see for miles. Just a line of tanks, tracks, artillery, ADA, and soldiers as far as the eye could see with what seemed like hundreds of helicopters and jets overhead. Definitely the most visual representation of military power I've ever seen. The sandstorm was ramping up and it felt like the apocalypse.

Flying in late on the 4th of July and flying over a baseball stadium that was having post-game fireworks. It was pretty neat looking down at the fireworks--I pretended I was a B-29 pilot dodging flak over Berlin.

(For clarification, I was a passenger in a Southwest jet that was overflying the fireworks display--I don't want y'all to think I'm Iron Man or something).
