When looking back at post I’ve made from several years before there was an up/down voting option, I’ll often find my obscure nonchalant post will now have several downvotes from this new-fangled voting add on.

The ruins of Pompeii were the most impressive thing I’ve seen.
I spent the day there a few years ago and it still stays with me. When you are there, you can visualize the whole city moving around you as it was. When you walk through a house, and there are many, it’s easy to figure out how they lived. And unlike many places that decay over time… you get to see it frozen in time. It’s a mind blower. So many people… poof.

A high school linebacker making a 47-yard field goal, into the wind, on a 15 degree night, as time expired, to win the Montana state AA championship.

I was about 10 years old when I was in North Dakota at some wilderness park. Me and my older cousin were walking outside of a caged walkway early in the morning to go fishing.
Something catches my eye while we are carrying on and it’s a massive fricking mountain lion on top of the cage. The cage is maybe 7 or 8 feet tall. It steps down off the top and doesn’t make a peep. I swear the things back feet were still on top of the cage when it’s front feet touched the ground. It was so fast and quiet it just froze me in my tracks. It honestly felt like a ghost passed through. Thankfully it took off in the woods. How something can be that quiet and look like it’s built like a shite brick house still amazes me to this day.
We headed back to camp and about 10 minutes into it I realized I had pissed myself. The wild is nothing to frick with.

Trump, as a political outsider, destroying the entire fake news MSM narrative surrounding his "joke" campaign and rubbing the media elites noses in shite on live television 11/8/16.
Equally impressed by the democrat response of running a senile old fart and subverting democracy so thoroughly the old fart won by 10 million votes.

I had a pretty unnerving experience with a mountain lion in New Mexico when I was a kid. A group of us went on a hike from our cabin and were following this gravel road for about a mile until we realized there was a mountain lion on the ridge above us just watching and following us. It was totally silent in its movements. We threw rocks at it until it finally ran off.
The most impressive thing I’ve probably ever seen was being 80 feet submerged on a dive trip and coming upon a whale shark. We had no idea what it was first as all we could see was a giant black mass. We swam towards it and finally saw what it was. We swam up to it and it turned to face us I swam around to grab its fin and just held on as it swam along for a while.

The guy on here that ran a mile, barefoot in under 6 min, chugged a 40, and smoked a cigarette (all in no particular order).

An African sunrise over a lake in Zimbabwe
And by far the most impressive was from way out in the Zimbabwean bush, hardly any power at all, seeing a true nights sky with all the stars . It was breathtaking

I guess if anyone deserves it, you do, but that's some dedication.

I was at a high school track meet where Mark Dillard of Glen Oaks was competing. He wore a speed suit and had a cock the size of a beef tenderloin. If he let it go down his leg like a normal sized dick it would impede his stride. So he taped that motherfricker to his abdomen and it was extremely obvious under the spandex.
Anyway, he won the 400 running about 47.8 then came back to run the 200 in the very next event. The duct tape failed about 85m into that race and he had to drop out.
