I'll hit 10 years without a sip of alcohol in May. Needless to say alcohol and I didn't play well together....

I'm a therapist and I'm here to help. It sounds like you think that they're personally attacking you. Maybe you have a deep lying regret, guilt and depression associated with drinking alcohol that you haven't been able to get over. You should consider going dry January and February to see if you feel better.

You sound like a really shitty therapist if you can't even read.

I’m going on my 4th year - I don’t mind being around people drinking but I have zero desire to ever drink again

6 months? I don't drink often anyway, but did it for some testing on my liver function years ago.

2/1/22 - 2/1/23

Prettt much gave it up for good. I will still have a cocktail here and there or glass of wine with dinner, but I won’t get drunk again.

Since I started drinking at age 22, probably 6-8 months a couple times.
This except I was almost 21 when I started.

I don't get behind as fast and I get caught up alot quicker.

And I have some really good scotch in my locker.

Example: Last night, I got home after a wonderful family dinner (with no alcohol served there) and say down & read and eventually thought about a scotch but said "meh" and just didn't get one.

Never really drank much if at all. Always have been focused on more productive things and hobbies I actually enjoy so never really care or crave it.

What's more productive than getting dunk and making more babytacs?
