It sucked and wasn’t very smart. It was the last leg of a road trip and I was ready to get home. Even if it was Arcadia. Lol.

Shreveport, LA to San Diego, CA. Left at 9am and arrived the next morning at 3am. Only stopped for gas, food and bathroom. This was in late July and the worst stretch was from Midland to El Paso, TX in the heat. I thought I was driving to Mars.

Google Maps says that trip is over 1,500 miles. To do that in 18 hours you had to be FLYING on those roads. Like 80 mph the whole way.

Other than Dallas, TX, it was easy to fly on I-20 and I-10 at speeds over 80mph. I may be off by an hour or two, but this was back in 2004. All I can say is never again!

Damn, son. What kind of fuel efficiency are you getting? How big is your tank? Not even a gas or piss stop?

You did not answer the question. He asked about non-stop, not about driving and stopping. What’s wrong with you people? Non-stop means without stops.

Because it’s pretty obvious the question includes stopping for gas and a piss break, the thread isn’t how many miles do you get on a full tank

Nonstop for a plane means no stops.

Nonstop for an auto typically means straight through with fuel fillups only but no sleep.

From Knoxville to the Kansas/Colorado state line where I passed out at the welcome center was a little over 18 hours. Close runner up would be indianapolis to the New Hampshire coast. I did Sturgis to the Mississippi River but took backroads through South Dakota so it was longer than it should have been. I’m not sure how long it was but it was at least 15 hours.
