What you should do is post how to get a refund on this crap.
You have said you live on the Westbank. How does that stack up to Shreveport?
I wonder if the Advocate is completely devoid of anything that could be construed as racist since it’s founding in 1842? I’m sure there is some cancel worthy content over the last 178 years.

Boat Lift Blues

Posted by Eauxs Binder on 6/6/19 at 6:31 pm
All right guys, let’s see if the OB is as good as I think. I have a cable and strap boat lift with one on bow and stern. The bow portion of the lift is “unbalanced” all of the sudden. In other words, the strap lifts much higher on the starboard side than port all of the sudden. I unwound it all the way and rewound it but that did not help. I’ve put pressure on the high side trying to even it out. Not sure what to do at this point. Anyone know what’s up? One gear box with a rod at bow on starboard side.

Tubing behind bass boat

I’ve got a 17’ boat with a 90 hp and want to pull the kids on a tube. Anyone know where to hook up the harness on the boat? My transom u bolt tie downs are pretty close to the motor and sit low. Also have stern cleats on the rear gunwales. I’m worried about the tie downs being too low and close together. Recommendations?
What about the 5 just north of the parish line on I-10?

Thanks all. Good ideas. Dock is what I would call normal height off of water so 6”-1’. On a 200 acre lake. 9.9 might be a better option.

Storing Jon boat on dock

Posted by Eauxs Binder on 3/28/19 at 8:34 pm
I’ve got a boat lift for my bass boat but thinking of getting a smaller Jon boat with a 15 hp for kids and extra guests at my camp. I have a covered area big enough for a 14-15’ boat and motor but I’m not sure how to get it on the dock each time. Lightest boat/motor combo I can figure is about 250lbs without gas etc. Two people can handle picking it up but seems like a pain. Anyone have a solution? I’ve thought about rollers and a winch, but not sure.
