14+ hours. Drove to Key West during fires in FL that were shutting down interstates, so we took US-27 most of the way. Put some gas cans in the truck to be sure we'd make it. Was not canceling the dang trip, it's normally only 11-12 hours from where we were. We left at 8pm at night, arrived at Marathon in time for breakfast. Drive home was much better.

Drove cross-country, too, but we took it easy, we stopped every day with enough time to do stuff and enjoy a meal, except for Texas, we just opted to blow thru it. Texas is insanely big, though. We spent 1 day just driving across it from Clovis, NM, to Shreveport. I remember watching the gas gauge and sweating out the exits at first, and decided to make more frequent stops in the event we ran into a situation where there were no exits for 100 miles...

My longest was Las Vegas to Olympia via I-15 and I-84. It was 1,300 miles and took 18 hours. I was young at the time so had more energy, less money for hotels. I’ll never do anything like that again. 10 hours is about my max these days.
