About a 1050 miles. Houma- Corpus Christi. Round trip. Met with company man, had invoices signed and came home.
Longest non stop
Houma La to Port Mansfield Tx. About 700 miles. About 12 hours. 1978 Chevrolet Pickup. Had dual tanks in truck due to gas shortages in 1979. Never stopped except in traffic. Took a leak in a plastic jug while in traffic in Houston. A wide mouth jug.

17.5 hours, Arkansas to South Dakota. I was 18 and it was my first long road trip. I was so excited I only slept about 45 minutes. Nearly fell asleep a few times towards the end

Tuscaloosa to Miami. This was before internet and we estimated 13 hours. Ended up taking us around 16 hours with stops and traffic.
