Back when I first started lurking in ~2001 TD you didn't need an account to post. You could post as a guest.
I recall some idiots fighting about Saban sucking as a coach.

I wish I’d taken a chance on bitcoin but the fact that it was part of the kiddy porn market really turned me away. Looking back, the same could be said about American greenbacks being used for all sorts of debauchery.

That’s pretty accurate, actually.

Actually it was you now that I think about it. Full circle.

That’s right, as I recall it was “Dude-ster, get on the yacht rock train……The Doors are lame-o.”

Didn't know anything about it but wish I would have put $100 in it when he was pumping it up.

That dude probably owns an island if he had as much as he said he did.

That’s pretty accurate, actually.

What what Jim Morrisons legacy be if he hadn't OD'd?
I think a lot of those types get elevated into some type of legend status when they die so young, when otherwise they would have just faded away.
There were plenty of bands and singers from that genre and Era that were just as good or better

Couple hottakes that stand out

Dukke V saying Baton Rouge wouldn't see any rain in August 2016

Febuary 2020 Doctor Scruffy tells this board that majority of us posters won't even have the COVID virus show up in our town.

I love anything so bad that the poster quits posting forever out of shame.

DollaChoppa still hasn’t posted since he committed seppuku after the Covid policies he enthusiastically supported got NC State kicked out of the CWS.

I've had quite a few. For a very brief time when Katrina hit I declared everyone overreacted. Five minutes later I hear about the levees breaking and the area west of NO devastated. Got more than one downvote. I also declared Democrats would not vote for a pedophile for president. Wrong there also, but with fewer downvotes.

The most persistent/recurring bad take:

Saban is washed up and retiring and/or headed to Texas or NFL.

Going 100 MPH for an hour saves more gas than going 50 for two hours because that is a whole hour that you aren't driving.
