That’s called addiction baw. People say weed isn’t addictive, but there are a lot of people unable to function without it

well I also drink when I do all of those things, but I wouldn’t consider myself an alcoholic, but I do associate all of those activities with drinking.

If someone wants to stay stoned out of their minds all day in the privacy of their home, I couldn’t care less. What bugs me is when they drive around doing it and spreading that stench everywhere.

I view weed like a lot of people view Xanax. I smoke in the AM too, often during the day and night. I’m highly productive, get paid very well, and father 2 kids that are often paid behavioral compliments. I hardly drink at all.

I gave it up for over a year + and though life wasn’t much different, I prefer weed in my life.

I know a guy who basically smoked multiple times every day since college. He built a successful business, raised a good family, and has had a very productive life. He was more or less stoned for 50 years.

Out of the blue, he just stopped, cold turkey. Went two months without, and may still be off it. Said there was nothing to stopping, he just stopped.

lol it’s so fricking strong. My neighbors smoke weed a lot. It’s a disgusting smell. Worst than cigarettes. Does being high make you more nose blind?

I like the way it smells, I like the taste, and it calms me and helps me focus on tasks and thought. I don’t really get high, just chills me out—my idle resting state is quite hot.

It's an addiction, but not a strong chemical one. Meaning there wouldn't be some nightmarish withdrawals physically if they stop and they easily could from that standpoint. Alcohol, pharmaceuticals, etc. are a completely different level of fricked up withdrawals.

But people who smoke all day every day have a mental addiction to it and will have a hard time adapting to coping with the world not high. Anxiety, restlessness, insomnia, etc.

Except benzodiazepine withdrawals are arguably the worst out there, even worse than most hard street drugs. Some REAL fricked up shite.

FTR, I hit a vape pen or gummies at night on weeknights to shut my brain off after kids are asleep. Helps me turn off work/stress and is healthier than using alcohol to do the same. I'm not ripping bongs of flower these days though.

I had some very bad withdrawals when I dropped weed. It was a month of really bad sleep. Lots of vivid savage nightmares.

I used to know a couple people like this with alcohol. Couldnt do anything without having drinks or bringing a cooler. Usually wanted to meet up before and/or after for ‘drinks’. Softball, fishing, golf, going out…anything. It all involved drinking to the point the activity was not really the priority.

We used to be friends?

Isn't that CPS/DFCS worthy? Who can parent high?? What if you have to take them somewhere? People do this? Omg...

Omg lol like parents never drink around their kids either.

Its just a different crutch than alcohol and they can microdose it out. Geez at some of the stores here they are like you can drive on up to 3, then don't. Its not like they are all there getting stoned all day long.
