In High School I worked at a grocery store. The womens bathroom was the most vile place I have ever been.

I will say this. A public restroom that is maintained in a fresh condition will more or less remain that way. If it is not maintained, folks will continue to contribute to the filth. In my construction days, folks would set fire to the portable toilets if they weren’t cleaned regularly.

Those scribbled messages were the only good thing about trashy bathrooms, and it looks like social media and OnlyFans have killed that. Now, you just get nasty with absolutely no culture. Sad.

In my experience, men do just do not care and women do it on purpose. No reason for a used tampon to be stuck to the wall ladies

I see this more in Louisiana than anything. There is a notable difference in cleanliness when crossing the border from I-10.

The small town I live in (~2000 residents) has some public restrooms in the downtown area for tourists and such. They keep them locked most of the time because people go and shite all over the place. It's a pretty nice lil town.
Also, it seems like trade type of guys are bad about wrecking restrooms. I haven't seen shite smeared on a toilet seat at work since I moved to the corporate office. At any of the field offices it was a bi-weekly occurrence.

It is the best. I will drive out of my way for a nicer restroom or gas station stop 100% of the time of its not an absolute emergency.

Because that's what trash does. Trash leaves a mess because trash knows they won't have to clean it up. Also, trash is more comfortable in a trashy environment.
