Back the 90's I remember a news story where a father killed a son over a piece of fried chicken. It happened in Albany.

I don't know what it was over, but back in the mid-90's, I saw two guys arguing at a bar and one smashed a beer bottle and stabbed the other guy in the throat with it.
No idea if he lived or died, but it was a bloody mess. Police everywhere securing the scene while the paramedics took off with him in the ambulance.

In the Charleston area years ago there was a once/twice a year run for several years of family members (brother/brother, son/father) living together who stabbed the other because they ate the last piece of fried chicken.
It happened enough that for a couple of years everyone in my ER picked a date for our pool of when the first fried chicken related stabbing took place.
Sadly, I never won, but I did come close a couple of times.

I played lunchtime basketball at the Y for years. I’ve seen grown men come close to throwing fists multiple times over a ticky tack call your own foul. These would be guys who would revert to a toddler’s temper tantrum if they felt like they got called for a foul. Quite pathetic. It wears on you after a while.

Saw hands thrown for a few seconds when a guy welched on a bet about guessing where his shoes came from.

...and when Aunt Pet got the lamp lit, there were five forks sticking out of the back of Uncle Versey's hand.

I watched a parent get aggressive and then physical with coach of his child’s wrestling opponent
The dad had never wrestled in his life so he got slammed and then held down like a child. One of the most humiliating things I’ve seen an adult bring upon himself

An accidental bump or incidental eye contact at a crowded bar, a number of times.

Road rage. Seeing grown men literally lose their shite and look like a 7 year old in their car gets me everytime.
