What's the best way to strap a car down to a flat bed trailer?

use tire straps that are made for that purpose.

Use 4 chains 2 on the front hooked to the suspension and 2 on back hooked to suspension with these to tighten it

Go to the bumper, but not the metal portion, make sure you hook to the plastic.
Also, leave the car in neutral.
